The Apple Branch

An apple branch is a beautiful thing, it both describes and illustrates how the Earth can provide for us. The apple, being nothing more than a simple fruit, has made an incredibly large impact on the history of the world from Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, to Sr Issac Newton discovering gravity for the first time. This simple fruit carries an amazing past, and will continue to do so for eons to come. This piece that I have designed is meant to be an homage to the wondrous apple. The branch that they are connected to is symbolic of how the apple has taken root in our society from one generational branch to the next. The leaf is symbolic of the life that the apple supports in our everyday world. and how that life allows our family trees to continue to grow.

The Fish

This post, although titled "The Fish" is not meant to describe the design. This design with it's clean lines, strange colour choice and the fluid motions it conveys are meant to do nothing less than spark the imagination. The mind is able to see things that both are and aren't there in objects that may or may not have an interpretation. The object of this piece is to make people ask "why", "what", and "how". Why was this colour used? What is the concept behind this object? How was it made? Each of these things were brought into consideration when creating the piece.
